Important Notice: Scheduled Upgrades at the BENEBIÓN Gamma Plant

At BENEBIÓN, we are committed to continuous improvement in order to meet the growing needs of our customers and partners. As part of this commitment, our gamma irradiation facility is undergoing important upgrades during the week of September 8, 2025.

These upgrades are focused on automating product changeovers, a key step in increasing productivity and unlocking additional capacity. This enhancement will allow us to respond more quickly and efficiently to customer demands, bridging the gap until our new X-Ray facility—scheduled to come online in Q1 2027—is ready to serve the market.

Temporary Service Interruption

In order to complete these improvements safely and effectively, the gamma plant will not be treating product up to and until Thursday, September 11.

Special Service Availability

To compensate for this short disruption, we will open the plant for phytosanitary inspection and treatment on Sunday, September 14.
