Issued on August 1, 2025, this approval clears the way for our new X-Ray accelerator facility—housing the industry-leading IBA Rhodotron TT1000—adjacent to our existing gamma irradiation plant in Matehuala, San Luis Potosí.

The Rhodotron TT1000 delivers 7 MeV X-Ray beams at 560 kW, offering unparalleled throughput and dose uniformity. This expansion enables BENEBIÓN to serve a broader range of applications—from phytosanitary treatment of export fruit to high-precision sterilization of medical devices and hospital supplies—backed by rapid changeover and customizable processing parameters.
