Position Summary
The Industrial Electrician will support the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and automation systems associated with BENEBION’s industrial automation projects.
This role involves hands-on work with industrial electrical systems, motors, sensors, control panels, conveyors, industrial networking infrastructure, and automation equipment.
The ideal candidate is safety-focused, technically disciplined, and comfortable working in active industrial environments alongside engineers, automation specialists, technicians, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Installation & Maintenance
Install and maintain industrial electrical systems and equipment.
Support wiring and assembly of industrial control panels.
Install conduit, cable trays, industrial cabling, and electrical components.
Perform troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems and industrial equipment.
Support preventive maintenance and inspection activities.
Automation & Controls Support
Assist automation engineers with installation and startup of PLC-controlled systems.
Wire and troubleshoot sensors, motors, VFDs, relays, contactors, and industrial control devices.
Support conveyor and material handling system installation and commissioning.
Assist in testing interlocks, alarms, and safety systems.
Support modifications and upgrades to automation infrastructure.
Industrial Projects & Commissioning
Participate in installation and commissioning of new industrial systems.
Coordinate with contractors and multidisciplinary technical teams.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
Support FAT, SAT, and startup activities.
Maintain organized documentation of electrical work and modifications.
Safety & Compliance
Follow industrial electrical safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures.
Maintain clean and organized work areas.
Support safe operation of industrial equipment and facilities.
Participate in safety meetings and operational risk assessments.
Key Requirements
Required
Technical degree or certification in Industrial Electricity, Electromechanics, Electrical Systems, or related field.
Experience with industrial electrical installations and troubleshooting.
Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical drawings.
Experience working with motors, industrial controls, and electrical panels.
Willingness to work hands-on in industrial environments.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Spanish communication skills.
Preferred
Experience with automation systems and industrial controls.
Experience with VFDs, PLC systems, sensors, and industrial networking infrastructure.
Experience with conveyor systems or material handling equipment.
Experience in manufacturing, logistics, industrial processing, or technical facilities.
Basic English technical reading ability.
