Position Summary
The Front-End Developer will be responsible for creating responsive, operator-friendly interfaces that integrate with backend automation and data collection systems. You will work closely with automation, operations, and engineering teams to translate complex process data into clear, actionable visuals for plant operators and supervisors.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop front-end interfaces for real-time control and monitoring of pallet conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
Build intuitive, responsive dashboards for operations management, including production tracking, equipment status, alarms, and process metrics.
Collaborate with backend engineers and automation specialists to ensure seamless communication with PLCs, databases, and SCADA systems.
Apply UX/UI best practices tailored to industrial environments, emphasizing clarity, safety, and ease of use for non-technical users.
Create and maintain interface documentation, workflows, and system interaction guides.
Support ongoing updates and improvements as systems evolve and new operational needs arise.
Participate in testing, debugging, and deployment in an active industrial setting.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
3+ years of front-end development experience, ideally in industrial/manufacturing settings.
Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React or Vue.js.
Experience integrating front-end interfaces with industrial systems (PLCs, SCADA, SQL databases).
Experience with Siemens automation environments, including TIA Portal and S7 PLCs.
Familiarity with protocols such as OPC UA, MQTT, and REST APIs.
Understanding of HMI (Human-Machine Interface) principles in industrial applications.
Experience with responsive design and optimization for touchscreen use. High attention to detail and strong user-focused design mindset. Ability to collaborate across teams (automation, IT, engineering, operations). Strong communication skills in English and Spanish.
